I have been looking at Water Filters for some months. Having tried the jugs & cartridges I realised our water could do with being filtered. After much research it came down to 2 companies Ber****ly and Phoenix. I pushed the buy it now on the Phoenix after the strength of previous reviews. And thus far we have no regrets. Our drinks taste great, and finally the water is neutral tasting as its meant to be. Highly recommend this brand of water filter.

Good quality product, easy set up and after 2 primings we had clear and fresh tasting water
The water is much purer and when I drink it’s much smoother in my mouth, so it shows without a filter the water is gritty with additives but we don’t know that until we know what water is like without all the junk.

The water tastes better, we have in the past used filter jugs as the water in Northampton lately has tasted OK but of late has had a slight yellow tinge, not very appealing and very unusual as the mains water has normally been of good quality and appearance.

It’s is an excellent product, water is amazing clear and nice to drink, things to consider.
- preparing and setting everything up took a lot longer than expected and the guidance wasn’t very clear in pictures or videos.
- the additional fluoride filter takes up space in the lower chamber and I would have got the next size up if I realised.
-the tap position means it doesn’t drain all the water. I have to tip the unit slightly at an angle.

With regard to the setup instructions, we would like to clarify that detailed guidance for installation and priming is available on our website through step-by-step videos. Concerning the POSTreat Fluoride Removal Filter Cartridge, while it does occupy space in the lower chamber, it does not impact filtration performance. All water poured into the upper chamber is filtered as intended. Should you wish to upgrade to a larger system for added capacity, please contact us via email and we will be happy to assist.
Regarding the stainless steel tap, it is designed to drain most of the water efficiently. In some cases, a small amount of residual water may remain depending on placement and surface level.

I received the Phonix water filter and was very excited to try it. However, from the beginning, the water had a slimy and bitter taste. I emailed customer service three times (5 months ago) but have not received a response yet. I also tried to call them, but I couldn’t find a number, and the one I managed to locate went unanswered. I would say their customer service has been terrible with no replies at all.
I continued to use the filter, hoping that the taste would improve because it was new. While the taste did get somewhat better, I’m still unsure if it worked as advertised. Ultimately, the taste remains similar to tap water, so it’s not a good experience for us.
The Teak Wood Stand is an added bonus to the water filter. It elevates it both practically and aesthetically,
