How do Carbon Cartridges work?

Our Smart Carbon Cartridges rely on mechanical filtration method. The dense porous wall captures physical contaminants like microplastics, sediments, bacteria, cysts and other physical impurities.
By way of adsorption, chemical contaminants like chlorine, PFAS, pesticides, and many other chemical molecules get adhered to the surface of the activated carbon.

Our activated coconut carbon cartridges filter water for all your drinking and cooking needs.
Designed for longevity- our cartridges last up to 12 months.
This means fewer replacements and lower cost per litre.
We use a touch of silver to prevent bacteria re-growth- one of the most common problems with traditional filters.

Which size filter is best for me?

This depends on how many people will be using your Phoenix Gravity Water Filter, and how much water you drink! Generally, we recommend:

6-Litre - Perfect pairing, for up to 1-2 people

8-Litre - In the middle, for up to 2-4 people

12-Litre - Family friendly, for 3-4 + people

Can I clean my filter?

Gravity Filter:We recommend hand washing using warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Then, leave to air dry or buff with a microfiber cloth. (Don’t forget to remove your cartridges first!)

Cartridges:Wash these under cold running water only and using a mildly abrasive scourer or brush, gently massage along cartridges from mount to end only - to avoid contamination.

POSTreat:Again, use warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth/ sponge. Then, leave to air dry or buff with a microfiber cloth. (Don’t forget to remove the media first!)

Can I set it up myself?

Certainly! Our systems are designed to be extremely easy to assemble and everything you need will be included. You can do it yourself with just your hands - there’s no specialist tools, plumbers or electricians required.We include full instructions with every unit and we’re always here to help. How does the Phoenix Gravity Filter compare to plastic jugs or other filters?

The Phoenix Gravity is one of the most advanced filtration systems on the market. With a Phoenix Gravity System, your water is purified through two-stages of activated carbon filtration to remove 99.9% of contaminants including bacteria, parasites, cysts, pesticides, heavy metals and more. je suis quelque peu déçu par cet achat car j'ai eu des problèmes de fuites au niveau du robinet. Cela est dû à une mauvaise conception de ce dernier. Il est en effet beaucoup trop proche du cercle de caoutchouc qui sert de base à l'ensemble.
Je suis aussi surpris qu'il faille rajouter 77€ pour avoir un robinet permettant de vérifier le niveau d'eau d'eau filtrée. Il n'est pas commode d'avoir à soulever le récipient du haut pour vérifier le remplissage du récipient d'eau filtrée.
Les filtres font sans doute bien leur travail mais comparé à la concurrence ( notamment Weeplow) je trouve l'ensemble cher si l'on veut être équipé correctement ( vérification du niveau d'eau filtrée et réhausseur).

This water filter has changed my life! I can never go back to tap water again and I do not TRUST the nasties in it plus it tastes so chemically

Water now has a 'slight' taste to it - I think from the stainless steel but it is SO clear and refreshing I find I am now drinking more water as I needed an incentive as I have not been drinking enough and my health suffered

I feel this is so much better for general health and wellbeing , to have all the nasties taken out and I do NOT trust the greedy corporate water companies when they say ''tap water is safe to drink'' when it contains all sorts of contaminants they do not TELL you about and I am happy with the filtering power of the filters , SO happy with this water filter and it has truly changed my life and was much bigger with a much better capacity than I thought!
