 Is the KokoCarb the same as the Smart Carbon Cartridge?

The “KokoCarb” is a name upgrade and packaging upgrade to our carbon cartridges!

Introducing: 
PrimeEasy - this clever widget simply connects your tap to the KokoCarb making priming quicker and easier than ever before; 
At-Home Testing Kit - we’re including a simple at-home dye kit to test performance.  This can be used to check that the cartridges are both installed and are functioning correctly. 

Our cartridges themselves remain the same- offering the same premium quality and filtration performance you can trust. 

Is The KokoCarb compatible with my existing Phoenix Gravity system?

Yes. KokoCarb Cartridges are fully compatible and interchangeable with all systems that previously used the Smart Carbon Cartridge.

How often should I replace the cartridges?

For best performance, we recommend replacing your KokoCarb Cartridges every 12 months, depending on usage and water quality.

Can I clean my KokoCarb cartridges?

If you notice a reduction in water flow, this may indicate that the cartridge is becoming blocked. In such instances, it can be gently cleaned at home using tap water and a soft brush or scourer.

In most cases, your KokoCarb cartridges will not require cleaning. However, for consistently flawless performance we recommend replacing your KokoCarb Cartridges every 12 months.

What contaminants do KokoCarb cartridges remove?

KokoCarb cartridges are engineered to remove up to 99.99% of common contaminants, helping to ensure safer, better-tasting water.

These include:

  • Chlorine and PFAS

Do KokoCarb cartridges remove fluoride?

KokoCarb cartridges are not specifically designed for fluoride removal.

If you are looking to reduce fluoride in your drinking water, we recommend our specialised POSTreat Fluoride Removal Cartridge which works in conjunction with the KokoCarb.
