Is the KokoCarb the same as the Smart Carbon Cartridge?

The “KokoCarb” is a name upgrade and packaging upgrade to our carbon cartridges!

Introducing:
PrimeEasy - this clever widget simply connects your tap to the KokoCarb making priming quicker and easier than ever before;
At-Home Testing Kit - we’re including a simple at-home dye kit to test performance. This can be used to check that the cartridges are both installed and are functioning correctly.

Our cartridges themselves remain the same - offering the same premium quality and filtration performance you can trust.

Is The KokoCarb compatible with my existing Phoenix Gravity system?

Yes. KokoCarb Cartridges are fully compatible and interchangeable with all systems that previously used the Smart Carbon Cartridge.

How often should I replace the cartridges?

For best performance, we recommend replacing your KokoCarb Cartridges every 12 months, depending on usage and water quality.

Can I clean my KokoCarb cartridges?

If you notice a reduction in water flow, this may indicate that the cartridge is becoming blocked. In such instances, it can be gently cleaned at home using tap water and a soft brush or scourer.

Full cleaning instructions will be provided with your order and can also be found here.

In most cases, your KokoCarb cartridges will not require cleaning. However, for consistently flawless performance we recommend replacing your KokoCarb Cartridges every 12 months.

What contaminants do KokoCarb cartridges remove?

KokoCarb cartridges are engineered to remove up to 99.99% of common contaminants, helping to ensure safer, better-tasting water.

Do KokoCarb cartridges remove fluoride?

KokoCarb cartridges are not specifically designed for fluoride removal.

If you are looking to reduce fluoride in your drinking water, we recommend our specialised POSTreat Fluoride Removal Cartridge which works in conjunction with the KokoCarb.

I can honestly say my Phoenix Gravity Water Filter is the best thing I’ve ever bought. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about getting a water filter. I use mine every day for tea and coffee.. andif I’m boiling potatoes and vegetables. The dog has fresh clean water as well and I’ve a constant supply of ice cubes. Its amazing . We love our Phoenix water filter! Water tastes so pure. This is a good quality product for sure and I've been recommending it to everyone whose asked is about it when they visit and see it on our counter. I got the 4 person size because the 2 of us use quite a bit of water for cooking, coffee, drinking, etc. I would recommend that size for a small household.

je suis quelque peu déçu par cet achat car j'ai eu des problèmes de fuites au niveau du robinet. Cela est dû à une mauvaise conception de ce dernier. Il est en effet beaucoup trop proche du cercle de caoutchouc qui sert de base à l'ensemble.
Je suis aussi surpris qu'il faille rajouter 77€ pour avoir un robinet permettant de vérifier le niveau d'eau d'eau filtrée. Il n'est pas commode d'avoir à soulever le récipient du haut pour vérifier le remplissage du récipient d'eau filtrée.
Les filtres font sans doute bien leur travail mais comparé à la concurrence ( notamment Weeplow) je trouve l'ensemble cher si l'on veut être équipé correctement ( vérification du niveau d'eau filtrée et réhausseur).

Système de filtration très très bien fait le seul reproche que j'ai à faire c'est qu'il faudrait qu'il y ait un robinet avec jauge intégré dans le kit complet sinon le système est très très bien

This water filter has changed my life! I can never go back to tap water again and I do not TRUST the nasties in it plus it tastes so chemically

Water now has a 'slight' taste to it - I think from the stainless steel but it is SO clear and refreshing I find I am now drinking more water as I needed an incentive as I have not been drinking enough and my health suffered

I feel this is so much better for general health and wellbeing , to have all the nasties taken out and I do NOT trust the greedy corporate water companies when they say ''tap water is safe to drink'' when it contains all sorts of contaminants they do not TELL you about and I am happy with the filtering power of the filters , SO happy with this water filter and it has truly changed my life and was much bigger with a much better capacity than I thought!
